workforce and alternative office concepts will determine
who will will win the competion around young talents and
expreienced professionals.
Please contact Corinna for a summary and to discuss
digitalisation, mobile working, innovative training and
coaching concepts, as well as new approaches in Human

Le salon Cfia 2018 ferme ses portes. Plus de 300
exposants dans le domaine des ingrédients
alimentaires et des procédés de fabrication ont
rencontré leurs clients durant cette 6ème édition à
Casablanca, Maroc.
The FCN has visited the Cfia from September 25 to 27
in Marocco. Please contact Nico to discuss the Cfia as
a real growth driver for agribusiness companies.
This year’s Cfia is closing its doors. Over 300
exhibitors in the area of Food Ingredients and
processing met their customers for the 6th time in
Casablanca, Morocco.
It featured non communicable diseases and
consequent trends in the reduction of sugar,
sweetener taste improvement. At the same time the
addition of sweet or smoked flavours were some of
the highlights presented for the “Trophée Cfia”.
This trophy was won by our partners NutriSpec
SARL and GmbH this year.
In particular natural and BIO-certified qualities are in
increasing demand in the Maghreb markets. This
Francophone region follows very much the European
regulatory regimes and often the products in market
bear similar symbols such as the BIO-certification,
same as in the European Union.
The FCN has visited the Health Ingredients from
Nov. 27 to 29.
The ingredients industry has evolved significantly
with customers actively seeking functional foods to
meet their nutritional challenges: from
antioxidants to anti-allergens, from fat reduction to
sports nutrition and healthy aging.
Trends like healthy aging, digestive health,
personalized supplementation with the individually
right ingredients mix and the usage of trendy
botanical and novel ingredients continue. All these
trends entail a great deal of technical and
regulatory uncertainty. Not only for developers of
food and drinks, supplements and nutraceuticals.
But also for raw material manufacturers,
distributers and ultimate users, many innovative
ingredients require additional explanations and
consultancy regarding their legal status or
category.
Please contact Hermann, Markus, Nico or Steffen
to discuss the challenges and solutions in
functional foods.
